And she sobbed her eyes out when she heard the news. Her magical island was going to be destroyed. Destroyed by some shallow, superficial and money oriented humans. Humans with no feeling. Humans with no understanding of what really matters! She was frustrated and let down. Soon, she came to the realisation that an entire island had come together, protesting and showing the world how much love for Ibiza there is. This caused a chain reaction amongst the world; people from Paris, London, Brazil, Amsterdam and many more countries started sending images of themselves naked in order for this inconceivable situation not to take place.
The protest managed to reach national television, and hopefully a change it will make. She signed petitions and did what she was able from a place far away.
Ibiza is something that you carry around with you. Ibiza has that something…something that leaves you scarred for life even if you’ve only set foot on her for 5 minutes. More and more people, come back year after year, looking for Ibizas sun, sea, salt, wildlife, people…Students that have left home, and even though they still want to see the world and discover new places, there’s always an excuse and a reason to return to Ibiza. Even if it’s just for a small dose of it. Ibiza is necessary. Ibiza, always.

Y lloró a más no poder cuando supo lo que iba a pasarle a su preciosa isla. Iba a ser destrozada. Destrozada por unos humanos insensatos, inconsiderados que no saben lo que realmente importa en la vida. Humanos sin sentimientos. Unos humanos incitados por dinero, que no piensan en el bien de lo demás. Estaba frustrada y decepcionada. Decepcionada hasta que vió la increíble manifestación que su isla estaba dando. Una manifestación que esparció por el mundo entero. Gente enviado fotos desnudas desde Barcelona, Amsterdam, Londres, Brasil..Algo que creó grandes sensaciones en muchos rincones del mundo. Algo que unió a la isla e hizo que sus habitantes formasen algo asombroso. Algo que nunca se había visto. Algo tan unánime, algo en lo que todos coincidían.
Ibiza es algo que se lleva dentro. Ibiza tiene algo…Solo hace falta pisar la isla 5 minutos, y te deja marcado de por vida. Gente y gente que vuelve, año tras año, en busca de sus aguas, su sal, su sol, sus bosques, su fauna, su gente…Estudiantes de fuera, que a pesar de querer ver el mundo, siempre quieren volver a Ibiza, aunque sea solo a por una pequeña dosis. Ibiza es necesaria. Ibiza, siempre.
